Dr. Courtney Baker
Child, Adolescent and Adult Psychiatrist

Dr. Courtney Baker, D.O. lives in the Pittsburgh area. She grew up in western PA. She attended Penn State University and then medical school at Des Moines University. While in medical school she got involved in a psychiatry club which piqued her interest in psychiatry. On rotations Dr. Baker really enjoyed child and adolescent psychiatry, which solidified her career choice. Dr. Baker did her general psychiatry training at UMDNJ-School of Osteopathic Medicine and her fellowship at Penn State Milton S. Hershey Medical School. After that she worked in community mental health at Holy Spirit Hospital for 9 years. 


Outside work she enjoys spending time with family, collecting house plants, interior designing, and her Italian Greyhound Charlotte. She also enjoys volunteering for the Physician Support Line and Hazel Jane’s Italian Greyhound Rescue. In Dr. Baker’s free time, she also likes to visit Phipps Conservatory and Botanical Gardens and Frank Lloyd Wright’s Falling Water. Dr. Baker, was an assistant professor of Psychiatry at Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine and enjoys teaching in all settings.
